1. What are cookies and storage technologies?
MedFiles.ai uses local storage technologies (localStorage in web browsers and SecureStore in mobile applications) to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and improve your experience. These technologies are similar to cookies but are stored differently depending on the platform.
2. Essential StorageAlways active
Necessary for the basic functioning of the application. In web browsers we use localStorage, and in mobile applications we use SecureStore (encrypted storage).

4. Analytics and marketing cookiesOptional
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Ads (gtag.js), Meta Pixel (Facebook) and Metricool to measure visits and ad campaign performance. They load only on our public pages (such as the home page, pricing, articles and sign-up) and on the welcome page after you register. They never load on the pages where you manage your health information. Your cookie choice controls how Google and Meta may store and use this data, including ad personalization.

5. How to manage storage?
You can delete stored data at any time from your browser settings (localStorage) or from the mobile application settings. Note that deleting essential storage will log you out and you will need to log in again.
Note: In mobile applications, data is stored encrypted using SecureStore (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android) for enhanced security.
